Sports Fever




Background:
Crayons Communications partnered with TPRC to generate awareness and gather sponsors for its annual corporate cricketing tournament, the Gulf Super Sixes, endorsed by Wasim Akram. The 8 finalists receive the opportunity to play with 8 pre-selected cricketing legends.

What:
Two events were held, one pre (press conference) and one post (Wasim Unplugged, a gala dinner) the tournaments. TPRC was in charge of inviting media, preparing press material, arranging and coordinating interviews, content creation and dissemination, registering media, event set-up, monitoring.

Result:
Great spreads of coverage with varied story angles by the media. Client, Director and Legends were pleased with the way media were handled throughout the campaign especially the press conference and onsite during finals.
